RockSkool: Bar Chord Theory Part 2

In the first diagram we have a standard E chord, see how the E chord pattern stays the same, but as it slides up the fret board the root note changes each time so producing a different chord in line with the chromatic scale of the string being played.

 

Here we have a standard A chord, note how the A chord pattern stays the same, but as it slides up the fret board the root note changes each time so producing a different chord in line with the chromatic scale of the string being played.
