The Skool of guitar excellence

RockSkool

I have chosen the classic Back In Black by AC/DC to begin with, it’s one of those songs that impresses everyone if you can do it right. With these lessons you should be able to pull it off quite quickly so long as you are willing to practice, practice, practice…..

Three open chords, three bar chords and a little lead bit to add to the mix and that’s it!

It really is that simple...but it takes time and practice to get it to sound as good as Angus plays, so this is only the basics to get you started, after that…..it’s totally up to you how good you will sound.

Ok, let’s get to it….I have broken the lesson into 2 sections, each section is broken down further into 3 parts to make for easier learning and help you understand how to take a song and break it up into small phrases to learn rather than try to swallow half the song in one go!

There is also a video clip button which will show how to play each individual phrase slowly, remember to be patient don’t expect to play at speed anytime soon! Go slowly and be accurate….speed will then come along naturally...trust me!

Take your time and learn each small piece, don’t rush it or you won’t be known as the guy that can play Back in Black, no, you’ll be known as the guy who destroys Back in Black!

When you are ready try the “PLAY ALONG” button, here you can play along, up to speed with a rhythm guitar included to keep you company!

Finally….when your good enough….hit the “SOLO” button, to play along with the band on our own...click on the “TAB” button for the complete tab for the piece and get used to following the notation.

Do email me with your requests and comments, what songs do you want next?

For now the first one is free to show you how it goes...it's my interpretation of the AC/DC classic, "Back in black"
