So, onto the open A or 5th string and after striking the open string hammer on with the first and then second fingers (legato) before striking the 4th string on the second fret (leave the finger you played your last hammer on with in place to achieve this). The rhythm is a strict 1-2-3-4 and repeats as you can see, ending the second time with a strike on the open E string.
The second bar varies slightly with the 1/4 bend I mentioned before landing on the 4th string, 2nd fret to finish. Don't over do the 1/4 bend!!!

The first part in this phrase is exactly the same as the first part of the previous one....nuff said!
And the only variation for the last bit is you land on the A5 power chord..so the main point then is to get the legato part right since it forms the basis of the whole riff. Try to get the hammer on's all to sound the same and get a nice even rhythm.
